Redgate SQL Compare vs Visual Studio Schema Compare
So I just started at a new shop as their database developer, and my boss is wanting to get me a copy of SQL Compare, since they've used it in the office before. Nexus guitar presets. However, I've always just used schema compare from within VS, and from my research, I can't justify spending the $$$ to pick it up. We aren't a SQL Toolbelt shop, so there is no integration to their source control like it talks about on their website.
Kellogg expiration date codes. Am I missing something, and this product is indeed worth the $495+ price tag, or is it just overpriced Redgate stuff?
